The Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography at Sunwings College of Health, Science, and Technology is a three-year program designed to train students in the principles and techniques of medical imaging. The program equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to operate X-ray, CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, and other radiographic equipment for diagnosing diseases and injuries.
This program follows the guidelines set by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) and the Ministry of Health (MoH), ensuring students receive a high-quality, competency-based education in diagnostic radiography.
Program Overview
This diploma program combines theoretical coursework, laboratory training, and extensive clinical practice to prepare students for real-world radiography roles. Students will develop expertise in image acquisition, patient positioning, radiation safety, and radiographic interpretation to assist medical professionals in diagnosing and managing various health conditions.
Upon completion, graduates will be eligible for registration as Diagnostic Radiographers and can work in hospitals, imaging centers, and specialized radiology clinics.
